What's New & What's Next

What's new?

All new CrossOut Calendar

All new CrossOut Calendar

We decided to rebuild the app from scratch, using modern technologies and design principles. The new app takes your feedback into account and it is faster, more responsive, and easier to use than the old one.

Email signup

Email signup

On top of the existing Google signup, we have added an email signup option. We plan on adding more signup options in the future.

Overview page

Overview page

We added an overview page to display all of your calendars and your calendars of the day. You can choose between three different views: "Day view", "Week view", and "Month view".

Month view: Months's view

Week view: Weeks's view

Day view: Day's view

Subscriptions

Subscriptions

Due to the high demand of the app, we have decided to make it a subscription-based service. This will allow us to continue developing the app and adding new features. The app remains free to use, with the advanced features only available in the "Pro" subscription plan.

What's next?

Calendar categories

You will be able to add categories to your calendar, such as "Work", "Personal", "Hobbies", etc. This will allow you to organize your calendars better and filter them by category in the overview page.

Group calendars

The thing more fun than completing tasks is completing them with your friends. We are planning on adding group calendars, where you can share a calendar with your friends and complete tasks together.

Progress sharing

You can already share your calendar with your friends, but we want to make it easier for you to share your progress. We are planning on adding a feature that will allow you to share your progress on social media and with your friends.

Mobile app

Our top requested feature is a mobile app. We are planning on developing a mobile app for both iOS and Android. The mobile app will have all the features of the web app, but it will be optimized for mobile devices.
